A few kilometres from the sea, on the Emerald Coast, this house was enlarged thanks to an extension that radically changed its volume and connection to the outside world.
Breton architect Laurène Baratte opted for a contemporary design compared to the regional architecture.
She designed a building with the same height as the original house. In terms of materials, the architect chose a wooden frame, facades and a roof made of our charred wood Marugame as ideal solutions in this maritime region.
