At Zwarthout | Shou Sugi Ban, we enjoy creating our beautiful collection of black burnt wood every day. In our workshop in Leersum, we burn the wood in our own oven. Each product has it’s own texture and appearance. Perfectly suited to clad every building. The wood is of high quality so it will last for years.
Our experts are happy to assemble the wooden cladding to ensure a beautiful result. They do this assembly in the nicest (and technically best) way possible. Invisible and sustainable. Zwarthout | Shou Sugi Ban was the first European producer with its own collection. We burn various types of wood in our oven. Our collection consists of burnt and brushed products. Each with its own texture and appearance. All our wood comes from sustainably managed forests and we plant a new tree for every one we use.
